Finally giving in to the retail urge, I ordered an inexpensive HD camcorder, a couple of lights, and enough memory to record numerous hours of…well, spanking.
I have enjoyed so much making and sharing my spanking videos and I am looking forward to seeing what I can do with something more than the spare bedroom and cam on my Mac. (Although the boy’s butt looks good no matter what the pixellation..)
The waiting is the most difficult. After it arrives, I will have to learn to use it all, and correctly. This process may take somewhere between two days and several weeks depending on the size of the manual(s), as I do not ‘do’ tech. Beyond the learning curve…lots and lots of spanking video.
Segue to: Your Opinion
While I intend to ALWAYS provide free spanking videos, photos, and other content, I have been considering also producing content for sale. I am of the opinion that too much of a good thing is not necessarily great, but I also believe that there is more than enough interest in spanking video to oblige a little more content..
My question relates to the ways in which video is distributed. Options range from sites like clips4sale, which caters to just about any type of adult video, to Spanking Library, which caters to my fellow spankos. Both of these sites operate on a pay-per-video basis. Then there are the so-called premium sites, where members pay a set monthly rate for all-access to content. Also, I am a firm believer (yes, still) in hard media…what we now call DVD’s.
There are pros and cons for all of the options. My main concern with membership sites is the necessity to produce a large amount of content, regularly. I don’t always FEEL like giving a spanking…and sometimes I feel like spanking everyone all at once. However, the amount of content available on the clips sites (even the genre-specific ones) is nearly overwhelming and ‘stores’ seem to get lost in the shuffle. And…do people even buy DVD’s anymore?
I would like to know what you think. Leave your advice in the comment box below so that others may also benefit from your wisdom.

You could create “Studio” at Hotmovies.com. Some studios have a couple videos, some a large number. You could add videos as you choose to. They dont have exclusive rights. you could also create a presence elsewhere.

DVDs? No – DVDs sound like 1990s. You would need to package them and ship them all over the world. You would need to answer all kinds of questions regarding shipping costs and times for Europe. Do you ship to PO addresses in Lichtenstein? Turkmenistan? What about especially discrete packaging when shipping to the Finnish embassy in England?
“Clips4sale” and “Spanking Library” are not bad but I’d prefer a membership site. If you update it infrequently that would be no issue for me. You could also post some pictures there if you feel like, or outtakes, or in general something you would not consider selling.
Clips4sale is good. I’ve bought from there many times but videos tend to get lost in the endless maze of porn.
A membership site is more personal and gives you an online presence like nothing else. People know where to find you and they know you’re alive and well and active in the scene. You do have to update regularily or else people won’t bother with the recurring memberships and instead will just log in once a year and download everything you’ve got.
You just need to find a schedule that works for you. You could shoot all your scenes for the following month in one weekend and upload parts every couple of days or something.
DVD’s just aren’t worth the trouble. You’ll spend your days packaging and shipping movies and then having to deal with angry customers who’ve been sitting in front of the mail slot with an erection for 2 weeks waiting for their package to arrive but instead receiving a notice from customs informing them it’s been confiscated based on some obscure obscenity laws from 1953 and scheduled to be destroyed.
I would love to see you open a membership site and jump in with both feet. I would also like to see you spanking boys AND girls. The camera loves you and you know how to act natural when you’re doing your thing!
If you began shooting movies regularily would you have storylines and fictional scenario’s like “Teacher spanks boy after school for cheating on a test” or would they be shot as kind of real life discipline sessions like the ones you have now?
I think I prefer very domestic mom-type fantasy scenarios myself with a hint of ageplay but I don’t know if I’m alone on that one.
Either way, I look forward to whatever you do.
Thank you all for your input. I agree that DVD’s seem a bit obsolete, but I am thinking of that large part of my ‘target audience’ which still isn’t terribly internet savvy.
Regarding content, I have so many ideas that I will be completely uncertain where to begin when I do, begin. Genuine, traditional discipline, caning punishment, role-play…I love it all!

I would be sad to see your site become a members only site, as soon as you become a paid members site you become exclusive and the focus then becomes all about providing content and not about developing a community for F/M spankos. If I am paying a monthly fee then my expectation is that I will receive fresh and creative content on a regular weekly basis. I have never considered a 20 minute video broken into 5 minutes sections and spread over a month fresh content. What you have now is unique to what is being offered by everyone else, you provide an opportunity for those of us who are into the F/M spanking genre a place to go to not only see videos but a place to communicate and share with other F/M spankos. You can easily provide a free 5 minutes preview of a video on your site with a link to download the entire video for a fee. Then those who are able to afford to pay will happily pay for the entire video and those who may not be able to afford to pay or for other reasons cannot download videos will still be able to enjoy your work. It would be great if your site would include specific content for our Female HoHs, maybe discussions or tips on how to develop and maintain a FLDD relationship. It is great to have a site that is solely dedicated to the F/M spanking genre as there are more than enough M/F and F/F sites available. You site offers a place for those of us who are F/M Spankos or are in a FLDD relationship to go and share our stories and ideas with others.

I just discovered you and your site a day or so ago and I already very much like what I’ve seen. You are extremely respectful toward your readers and I think that whatever you do, your fans will follow you. I am a lifelong Spanko who just started to reach out to others with my “affliction”. (You’re my first contact, lucky you, lol) I analogize this like in a way I’m “coming out”?? I can only hope that others are as welcoming and as nice as you are. I am a fan of Spankingtube. I find that the more domestic the scene, the more appealing to me. I thrive on strict no non-sense discipline. I enjoy F/M the most but also like FF too. I think many guys are turned on by the threat of having their pants taken down and having their bare bottoms spanked. This is especially true when the women threatening is pretty and knows how to give a real spanking, you have both of those covered. I am inclined to agree with you, especially with regard to videos split into numerous clips. Personally, I would find the separation and multiple selection frustrating.
