Another year, another chance to thank you.

October is my birthday month, and this year I am turning forty. 



Surprisingly, I do not find this even remotely intimidating (although forty-one may bring on a whole other group of emotions), and am looking forward to the myriad interesting things which the world and my body have in store for me in this second half of life.

This year, like every other, I am grateful for my (ever-so-small but fierce) family, and for my iron ring of loving and thoroughly-loved friends. I am also grateful every day for the wonderful playmates I’ve made through the years, and for all the cool and intelligent people with whom I have had the pleasure of communicating online and through this blog. You all enrich my life in ways that I cannot properly express. 

Thus far, this blog contains somewhere around 390 posts, over 100 original, reader-submitted spanking stories, nearly a dozen writing and photo contests, and many thousand of my own spanking-centered, rambling words.

I hope that each of you, kind enough to spend a little time participating in this blog, is aware of my genuine affection for you, and my gratitude. Thank you all.

    The happiest of birthdays to you!

    None of us, nor all together, can return to you any gifts of the quality and magnitude anywhere near equal to the grace, empathy, and wit you’ve brought into our lives. You live a life as an example to others which I hope is full of joy for you.

    So please celebrate your own life, with whom you wish, however you wish, and please know how deeply those who know or met you are staked in your happiness.

    And, um, not that you wouldn’t anyway, but spank anyone and everyone you wish to, just as hard as you want to.

  9. Dana at 40 you are still a girl and most certainly look younger. I am many years older but still love being treat like a naughty boy, going over my Dommes knee to pay for my wrong doings OR…because she says so. My point being, you are still young until you let age get the better of you. Thank you for your great site and a Very Happy Birthday!! may you have many more.

  15. I know you will enjoy your 40’s at that age you have the wisdom that you didn’t have in your 20’s, but you still have the looks that you had in your 20’s. Have a happy b’day and I am sorry but someone…. needs to give the disciplinarian a B’Day Spanking, no you should not get to take it out on someones else’s bottom it needs to be yours…… Just saying

    As so many others have said, you definitely look younger than your chronological age. I guess spanking naughty boys and girls must keep one young. It certainly applies in your case and also in Cora’s.

  20. Happy birthday Dana! My birthday message to you is this. Even though I’ve had the great pleasure of knowing you for only a short period of time through two sessions (with another upcoming) and exchanges of emails, I feel compelled to tell you this. I mean this with all sincerity, you are a true professional and you should be extremely proud of this. You are intelligent, well spoken, and a joy to converse with. You take the time and care to get all the details just right. Keep doing what you do, nobody does it better. By the way, you don’t look a day over 29.
