Slippering: Help me choose

There are quite literally dozens of different slipper designs, and most of them are ugly. Of the few that are okay to look at, most don’t seem very effective for the purposes of spanking.


Here are a few I’ve been considering. Feel free to vote, comment, or link to your suggestions.

I own a pair of these isotoner ballet slippers (above). In my opinion they are too flimsy for a good spanking.



These are what I think of as traditional house shoes/slippers.

  2. The answer, none of them. Trust me, I’ve had a good share of bare bottom slipperings over the years. Truth is that house slippers rarely have a sturdy enough sole to make a proper job of a spanking – the ones you show, esp the second image in particular would make a nice thwap, but not really have much effect.

    The best slipper for spanking is in fact a sandal. You want something with a flat sole of sturdy leather and not too much in the way of straps on top so its easy to grip. The foamy rubber soles are too soft. Here is a link to a smart sandal, like the one K keeps and uses on my bottom, very effective I assure you!

  3. Does it have to be a “slipper” per se? Flat wooden sandals are pretty bad. I know this from experience. I was spanked with one once, not realizing that’s what it was. If I had to guess, which I did, I was convinced it was a wooden paddle. I was spanked with a traditional house slipper in a pretty serious moment where I was chased down and it was the only thing available. Honestly, it did bring me to tears… from laughing so hard.

  4. When people say the “slipper” in a spanking context, usually in my experience they’re referring to a rubber-soled tennis or gym plimsoll. The size 11 ones worn by the gym teacher are the ones to be wary of.

    The Peg Bundy ones here are definitely pretty, but the “classic” house slippers with the fuzzy soles look much more comfortable to wear!

  6. I would think a stiffer rubber sole type would work best? Slippering is very British! I’m on the wrong side of the pond to know which would work best. Perhaps I’ll ask Mia to investigate. Getting a sound slippering is one of those bucket list items of mine as a spankee!!!!!!

  7. Totally agree with Recidavist. Slippers barely fit the bill as warm up implements let alone the main course. Wood is the way forward.

  9. i found straw soled espadrilles agonizingly and unexpectedly painful. The shock took me by surprise and quickly had me in tears and tears

  13. Definitely go with the leather sandal option. I haven’t found I slipper yet that fits the bill.

    Another bonus feature is that you can wear these in public and at any time, you can just threaten to whip one off to teach someone a good lesson, there and then.

  14. Yep. I’ll go with the flat sole toe post sandal for its sting rating. I’ve been spanked with slippers, and they can certainly do a good job, but for immediate ‘attention grabbing’ effect, a flat sandal is the way to go.There are different sole densities as well! Some have a spongy soft sole, which is somewhat stingy, but others have a hard plastic sole, which stings like nothing else, I assure you. For the best of both worlds, splash out more money and get a real leather soled sandal! Leave out all the trims and fancy embelishments, just go for the plain classic toe post design.For added effect, just buy the largest size the store sells. They won’t fit your feet of course, but the sting imparted by the extra sole area in square inches will make up for that inconvenience. Sandals everytime. No contest :-)

  20. Some of the very worse for sting is those jelly sandals, my god its the worst thing I have ever felt in my life. Why is it that female shoes seem to have are the best when it comes to having a spanking slipper or such, why is that?

  21. I bought my GF some Homypeds with a rubber sole – quite thick and boy are they stingy, she loves having them to hand at all times
