That is a great idea. My parents own a rescue dog. They are hard of hearing, so the dog barks when someone comes to the door. I recommended to them that they get a dog. One day, I walked in and sat on the couch we have in the kitchen, and my parents were watching TV. I sat there for five minutes, and they never heard or saw me. I finally said hello. It was scary because I could have been anyone. The house was open and unlocked.
