Snow? In Vegas? Really!!?

Everyone,

Just a quick note to let you all know that they’re predicting SNOW in Las Vegas on Wednesday.

This means that if you do not hear from me after that it’s because I’ve decided to move to Costa Rica or someplace, where I’m pretty sure it never ever snows(?). Which, I might add, is what I thought about Las Vegas when I moved here.

Signed, the girl who can’t seem to get away from winter,

Dana

PS. I know, I know, lots of you live in places where it’s been snowing for two months, and will continue to snow for the next two or three. Your point?….. (You should move to Costa Rica, too.)

  1. So…should we assume you have now put blankets and parkas on your Amazon wish list…they also deliver groceries now…just askin’…. ;/

    1. Spanky,

You may assume that I’ve put roundtrip tickets to Bermuda on my wishlist.~

  2. I appointed myself hostess of your pity party! :)

Mother Nature is a psycho though. My area SUPPOSEDLY will have a few days in January with temps in the 70s. Cynic that I am I highly doubt it but will NOT complain if it happens.

    1. Alexis,

Just for that, I hope you’re freezing your bunz off RIGHT THIS MINUTE.

      oxxo

  3. I started living in Southern California (Pasadena…Eagle Rock… Burbank…Long Beach) in the summer of 1974, and I have YET to see snow on the ground.
In fact, I don’t remember seeing snow falling, but others have told me, “Oh you blinked and missed it.”

    1. Shilo,

I avoid snow like most folks avoid the heat – it’s simply not something I wish to endure. Cold in general is a Major Turn Off, and I consider it cold anytime the temp drops below about 70 fahrenheit.

  4. We’re having warm weather in the NY area (as compared to last year). If you were here, you could be warming my bottom and we’d both be happy.

    1. Raymond,

Imagine how happy we’d both be if you came here, so that I could spank you and then go for tacos and pinball….

  5. As a matter of fact, Dana Dana…”MA’AM” the last 2 days here have been positively MERCILESS with “high” temps reaching 13-15 degrees. The lows are zero and below with that em effing windchill swirling around @ 22 degrees BELOW zero.

Suffice it to say, that, YES…My bunz have been nearly frozen off by this minute!
